My name is Linda Collier and I come from a family of generations of Military Veterans that includes numerous brothers and cousins, and dates back to my grandfather who served in WWII.  My grandfather, T.M. Allen, was one of the serviceman that stormed the beaches of Normandy. As you can see in my logo which is over shadowed by the American flag, my grandfather received a letter of commendation from General Barnett for his outstanding performance of service during this battle in Wingen, France. Through the valiant efforts of this troop, 250 US prisoners of war were liberated.

To say I have a vast pride in my family for their sacrifice and service is an understatement.  However, on the few occasions that my grandfather spoke of his service, he prefaced it by saying, “It wasn’t my heroic efforts that brought me back home, it was through the grace of God, because I was just a scared , nervous farm boy from Alabama when I entered the service.”

The Vets to Execs Foundation recognizes the difficult transition from military life to civilian life and the many hardships it may bring. Vets to Execs Foundation is a non profit organization invested in helping US Military Veterans become business owners.

Vets to Execs has teamed up with Ourso U in raising funds to award chosen veterans with the purchase a of a Jani-King Franchise as well as train and mentor them into Entrepreneurship.

It is my hope that though the efforts made through this foundation that veterans that have sacrificed for our freedom can experience financial freedom of their own through owning their own business and perhaps employ more veterans along the way.
